Darkness Fades

Ahhh..... So I spent the whole night in this creepy warehouse.... Something from afar lead me here.... a light in the distance, a cold eerie sound. As I walked toward this old abandoned building, something urged me not to go in....  Did I listen.....? No... I was lead by that eerie sound...  The heavy steal door creeked as I opened it, I peeked in and saw darkness. Only..... darkness.... Slipped through the door, shutting it behind me.... I turned to check the lock.... ugh locked! 

So there I was in this creepy old abandoned warehouse.....locked in! Why do I do such dumb things.... no back up plans... just me... and my stunning outfit.... 

As I walked in further, I tip toed, and to my right you could see the shadowed figures of inside the warehouse, old stacks of cargo crates, a chair, a desk..... An old fashioned pallet jack....I could smell the musty air.... Must be an escape....

In the distance I saw an opened door! Great yes!!!! Maybe an escape! I ran.... huffed as I ran because the stale dusky air was thick with this humidity.... slipping past the door I saw a set of stairs... no other door.... no way out! What have I done...

I slowly scaled the stairs, and came to a window...the dust was so thick upon the window that I would need something hard and possibly sharp to scrape the time away from the window. I reached in my pocket... what is in here... fumbled around... My lipstick! Ah... yes.. this should do.... I took the top of the lipstick container, slid the warm lipstick duo on either side of my lips, one side purple... one side black... mmm tastes like berries!. Wait... back to the window.... Ya know what I did.... I took the top from the lipstick and slowly started scraping away at that old window..... 

Sheesh.. that must have taken like 20  minutes or something just to get the old crud off the window.  I look down at my nails... I could see the dirt upon my fingertips... my poor mani looked ruined...why wasn't I paying attention! Cleaned off the cap and pressed it firmly back on the lipstick container...shoving it back into my pocket.

Hmmm back to the window!  I managed to make a nice sized hole to peak out of... It was pretty blurry, but I could make out some farm equipment... something that looked like a barn.... but nothing to help me with a way out.... not just yet....

The midnight sky made it pretty difficult to tell just where I was at, besides in this stairwell... I felt safe here... I made my way to the corner of the landing and decided to wait it out until daylight... Still not sure why the creaking and dim light urged me to enter.... only time will tell...
